I looked at different books on films and there construction that have been set in New York and i stumbled across a book on the recent film Watchmen and found this design of the set and location even tho it is based in the 1980's it still showing all the same objects Ive found before in photography like signs and lampposts which once again confirms to me that this is what i need in my design. I really like the idea of the smoke/steam coming out of the grate, i could use this in my design as it will create the perfect atmosphere for my film Noir genre.
